The New City Furniture Company Limited is a story of Jamaican resilience and a commitment to quality. Founded by Oniel Edwards , a Black Jamaican entrepreneur, our company began on Water Lane with nothing more than a dream and a sewing machine. We started small, meticulously crafting mattress covers, fueled by a desire to provide Jamaicans with a good night's sleep.Our unwavering dedication to quality and customer satisfaction fueled our growth. We expanded our offerings to include foam purchased from Jamaica Bedding, which we then wrapped and sold ourselves. This hands-on approach allowed us to ensure every product met our high standards.

From Humble Beginnings to a Jamaican Powerhouse

By 2006, our commitment to excellence took us to Orange Street, where we significantly expanded our product line. We began offering essential bedroom furniture like dressers, chests of drawers, and night tables. This marked a turning point,allowing us to cater to more aspects of your home's comfort.

The story doesn't end there. In 2008, we embarked on a new chapter by starting to manufacture our own sofas. This commitment to in-house production allowed us to ensure the highest quality standards and cater to diverse customer preferences.Recognizing a gap in the Jamaican market, we took a bold step in 2009. We established Our Pure Comfort Brand,becoming one of the leading Jamaican spring mattress manufacturers. This move solidified our dedication to providing complete sleep solutions, ensuring Jamaicans could experience the comfort and support of locally-made spring mattresses.
